Okay, so here's a slight anachronism...a day or two before Valentines Day we couldn't stand it any longer so we opened a wonderful treasure box from Grandmamma and Grand Daddy! It was full of all sorts of goodies!!! Thanks Mom and Dad!!!

And when the time came, we used our new cookie cutters to
start the day off with some happy heart pancakes!

Somewhere between breakfast and lunch, Anna threw a tea party and served some of the delicious treats from the treasure box!

After nap time, we decided to further ignore the rules of nutrition and make.....CUPCAKES!!!
I know I let the girls help stir the mix and later decorate with sprinkles...but I'm guessing I didn't get pictures of that because of the projectile frosting and my propensity towards clumsiness when multitasking. So here's what I did capture of the short life of cupcakes:
Before (YUM!)

And this is the most appropriate 'After' I have, since they would rarely finish an entire cupcake. It was ALL about the frosting, baby!
And now that they've eaten most of the frosting, Anna is looking for her next victim! As far as diet is concerned, I can't actually say I was a good mom that day...but dinner was a little better! I made Grinnitch Spinach and Mozzarella Calzones with Marinara Sauce on the side and gave myself a pat on the back for getting them to eat (and actually enjoy) some dark leafy greens! Anna set her the "table" of course. ;) Really it's just a storage bin tuned upside down with a pillowcase for the tablecloth, but you have to admire her creativity! She also wrapped each set of utensils in a napkin and made a centerpiece --we just had to scoot that over a bit when the food arrived. What a creative cutey!
Can you tell Sabrina is getting ready for prayers?
