Yes, we're alive

Well, I know it has been a while...so I better start chipping away at revealing all that we've been up to. Thanksgiving was a fun time for us; we spent it in the delightfully kooky Eugene, Oregon with Ben's Grandma and many other relatives whom we enjoy. Christmas time found us flown out to Lindon, Utah, compliments of Ben's parents! This was quite an unexpected and pleasant surprise. It was WONDERFUL to visiting with ALL of our family under the same roof! Anna particularly loved "tamping" with her cousins on the floor in a sleeping bag. I find myself wishing we could live much closer to our family there; they're such a sweet and fun bunch! Everyone is so talented in their own way: there was violin and piano playing, singing, impromptu guitar strumming, a rousing scrabble game, story-telling, and much wittiness resulting in laughter! I feel so blessed to be a part of the Harris family!

New Years was a quiet event at our own home. Ben and I expeditiously put the girls to bed and wasted no time in breaking out all manner of fatty treats as we gabbed about yester-year, watched the Tube, played Scrabble, packed on the pounds, and mused over what New Years resolutions we would actually commit to. This post is making me think I should resolve to be more concise and not let my participles dangle. *sigh* Oh well. I'll soon add some some photo documentation to this string of experiences --if anyone is still interested after such extended neglect <:) We hope everyone is enjoying 2009 in good health with the ones you love!
